I've often noticed forum posts by Internet marketing newcomers saying that the "gurus" never give them a complete step-by-step system to making money online.
Even if after someone posts a step-by-step guide, some skeptic will come up and say that he has not given them a complete system for making money online.
I just want to say this: there is no "magic pill" for succeeding online! Nobody is going to give you all their business secrets and lay it all right in front of you to copy.
It doesn't work like that.
You have to figure some things out for yourself.
You are in business after all! This is your business.
It's not the guru's business.
They are there to help you, but at the end of the day, they have their own interests to look after too.
I think some people are still in the "employee mindset", where they are told how to do everything on the first day of work, and after a few months, they know the workplace inside out.
It doesn't work like that in business! There are far too many variables involved.
Success is not a guarantee in business.
Most people know that on a deeper level, but they don't act like they know it.
They think there is some "magic formula" for building a mega successful Internet business.
You don't see offline businesses or eBay Powersellers giving out their sources for supplies.
They might give away some hints, but that is the best you will get.
Gurus sometimes give you a step-by-step plan that CAN work.
But every business is unique.
There are some things you will just have to figure out for yourself: your niche, your strengths, your weaknesses, your opportunities.
Nobody can do that for you.
Experts can advise, but you have the make the final decision at the end of the day, and sometimes, you might have to actually study Internet marketing like you would any other subject.
If you want to learn to drive a car, you go through months of training and then you finally take a test.
Treat Internet marketing the same way.
You have to learn the ropes!
