How to Ping Your iPhone
- 1). Tap "App Store" on your iPhone. Tap "Search," then type in "Network Ping." Tap "Search" to find the Network Ping app.
- 2). Tap the download link for the app to install it on your iPhone. Press "Home" to return to your iPhone Springboard.
- 3). Tap "Settings - Wi-Fi." Tap the name of the network you're connected to. Write down your IP address from this page.
- 4). Press "Home." Tap "Network Ping" to launch the Network Ping app. Tap "Ping" in the top-left corner of the screen to run a basic ping test. Type in your IP address. Tap "Start" to send packets to a server.
- 5). Read your ping test results in the "Output" box at the bottom of the screen. Network Ping tests your IP address four times and displays the reply time for each test in the "Output" box.
- 1). Open the App Store on your iPhone and search for "Network Utility." Tap the download link to install the app on your iPhone.
- 2). Press "Home" to return to the home screen. Tap "Settings - Wi-Fi." Tap the name of your network to see your IP address. Write down the IP address.
- 3). Press "Home." Tap "Network Utility." Tap the "Remote Hostname or IP Address" box and type in your IP address. Tap "Ping." Your network ping results will be displayed on the next page.
- 1). Download and install Web Tools from the iPhone App Store. Press "Home" to return to the home screen.
- 2). Tap "Settings - Wi-Fi." Tap your network to view your IP address. Write down the address and press "Home" to return to the home screen.
- 3). Tap "Web Tools" to run the app on your iPhone. Tap the search field at the top of the screen to move the cursor there. Type your IP address into the box and tap "Go."
- 4). Tap "Detailed Ping" to display the results of a ping test at the bottom of the screen. Your results will be listed in the "Host" window under "Ping."
