Unusual Ways to Display Place Cards for Weddings
- Have the names of your guests printed on a paper of your choice and put each name inside a small photo frame. Arrange the frames on each reception table in the place you want each person to sit.
- Print your guests' names and table number on small fun-shaped cards. Small paper in the shape of hearts, champagne glasses or a wedding dress are ideal. Use a clothes pin to hang them on a clothes line at the entrance to the reception. Use elegant gold or silver clothes pins if you want something more sophisticated than wooden ones.
- Attach name tags with your guests' names and table number on them to your wedding favors with a ribbon. Set the favors on a decorated table and have guests grab their place settings and favors at the same time.
- Print the names of your guests on a small cup-like candle votive. You can have them printed professionally or print them yourself onto self-adhesive, clear label printing paper. Place each votive at the table where you want your guests to sit. Illuminate them with tea light candles.
- Obtain a large tree-branch wreath. If it's not the color you want, spray paint your desired color. Print the names and table place of your guests onto leaf-shaped cards and attach them to the wreath. Hang the wreath up at your reception so guests can grab their place cards.
