How to Take a Picture With a Notebook Camera
- 1). Find the software that comes with your internal webcam. Try searching for "webcam" in the computer's start menu. If you do not find the software this way, search online for the name and model of your laptop and add "webcam software." This will give you instructions on how to find the default webcam software on your laptop.
- 2). Open your laptop's webcam software. Though the exact features will vary depending on your laptop, all software will come with a way to take a still picture. Typically, all one has to do is click a button to take a still photo.
- 3). Save your photo to a location you will remember, such as your desktop.
- 4). Visit a website that allows you to take photos online via your webcam. Use this site if you can't find or don't like your computer's standard webcam software.
- 5). Allow the website access to your computer's webcam.
- 6). See the screen preview and add any desired effects from the options to the right of the preview.
- 7). Click the icon of a camera on the right of the preview. This will take a still photo.
