How to Buy a PSP Video Camera
- 1). Know that the PSP video camera has been released in Europe and some other countries, but the camera has not been released in the United States. At the time of writing, no date has been set by Sony for a U.S. release, nor is it known if there will be one. Therefore, the only way for U.S. customers to obtain the camera at this time is to import it. In Japan, the camera is known as the "Chotto Shot." In Europe, it is known as the "Go!Cam."
- 2). Decide if you really want the camera. Since it is not sold in the U.S., you will be importing it at your own risk and will not have customer service or warranty protection. It costs about $60 to $70 U.S.
- 3). Make sure you have a big enough memory stick for what you want to use the camera for. According to reports, a 4 GB memory stick will hold about 2.5 hours of recorder video footage.
- 4). Visit online retailers that specialize in imported electronic devices (see Resources below). There may also be others, so do some research.
