A study shows that there are millions of people throughout the world who suffer from sleep problems.
This problem can make a person dull.
The performance of the person during the next day will be much below par.
According to experts, a person must sleep 6 to 8 hours during nights.
Otherwise, problems related to nervous and immune system may arise.
So, you should immediately find out the appropriate ways to cure this problem.
For curing this problem, you must identify the cause for this problem because there can be many reasons for this.
There are various types of sleep problem also.
Over-sleeping, lack of sleep or sleeping much less are some of the common problems.
Once you find out the reason for the problem, you can take appropriate steps to cure it.
There are several ways with which this problem can be rectified.
Some people suffer from a problem called Sleep Apnea and this is linked to breathing problems.
If there is a pattern in the problem of sleeping, it is called a Sleep Disorder.

In addition to these sleep problems, there are other varieties such as poor sleeping habits, restless sleep and lack of sleep due to physical or mental illness.

- Some people have the habit of taking antidepressant medicines and this should be completely avoided.
If necessary, you should take the help of your doctor before stopping these antidepressant medicines because the doctor may have prescribed them for some other problem.
- Taking a heavy meal with a lot of fats may disturb a nice sleep during the night.
It is better to eat a light meal to have a good night's sleep.
- Drinking a cup of warm milk or green or herbal tea may also give a relaxed feeling and stimulate a good sleep during nights.
If you are not able to rectify your sleeping problem even after taking these steps, you should immediately consult your doctor.
Though the problem may not be related to any physical problem, if you consult a doctor and get a sound counseling, you will feel reassured.
The doctor may be able to detect the causes for your problem and suggest to you ways to get rid of this problem.
