How to Make GIFs in Photoshop CS2
- 1). Choose which of your images you want to convert to GIFs. Some images, such as logos, plain banners and layout features can work fine as GIFs. But trying to turn a photograph of someone into a GIF will produce very bad results, since a GIF is a limited color image intended to be used when fine detail doesn't matter.
- 2). Open Photoshop. Select "File" and click "Open." Then browse to the location of the image you want to convert to a GIF and open it.
- 3). Select "File" and click "Save for Web." In the dialog that opens, select the GIF file type and click "Save." Name the file, and click "Save."
