Verify the end date of your contract

• 1). Sign in to My Verizon (located at http://www.verizonwireless.com) and go to "My Verizon Home."
  
  
• 2). Select your wireless number from the dropdown located by your device image to the left.
  
  
• 3). Select "Plan" from the dropdown under "Account" on the top navigation bar. Your contract end date will appear above your plan details.
  
  

Cancel your Verizon Wireless contract

• 1). Call the Verizon Wireless toll-free number (611 from your handset) or visit a Verizon retailer.
  
  
• 2). Tell the representative you would like to cancel your contract. If you are within your contract, you will be responsible for the early termination fee, as detailed in your contract. This fee is customarily between $150 and $200.
  
  
• 3). Once the representative cancels your contract, he or she will inform you that an invoice for the current amount due (including the early termination fee) will be sent to you.
