How to Create an AutoFill
- 1). Start Internet Explorer and click "Tools" from the main menu bar.
- 2). Select "Internet Options" and wait for the window to open.
- 3). Click the "Content" tab and press the "AutoComplete" button.
- 4). Check the boxes next to the items you would like AutoComplete to fill out for you. Clicking "Forms" will allow Internet Explorer to remember things like your name, address and telephone number, for instance. Checking "Usernames and Passwords" will allow AutoComplete to automatically fill in log-in information for various websites.
- 5). Click "OK" to apply the settings. As you complete web forms, Internet Explorer will remember your details. You will need to manually complete a form first before AutoComplete will give you options.
- 1). Start Safari and click "Safari" then "Preferences."
- 2). Select the AutoFill tab.
- 3). Check the boxes next to the items you would like AutoFill to complete for you. Safari takes your personal information from your Address Book application entry, so make sure it's correct. Check "Usernames and Passwords" and "Other Forms" for Safari to remember the most information.
