Media-Convert

• 1). Launch a Web browser and access the Media-Convert service (see Resources). The "Local File Conversion" tab should appear by default when the page loads. If it does not display automatically, manually select the tab.
  
  
• 2). Hit the "Browse" button alongside the "File" field. In the file-selection window, locate the 3GP input file on your computer. Double-click on the video and the 3GP input file will appear in the "File" field. The "Input Format" pull-down menu will automatically display the input file's corresponding profile: "3GP/3G2 Video (.3gp, .3g2)."
  
  
• 3). Open the "Output Format" pull-down menu and select the "Windows Media Video (.wmv)" entry. Hit the "OK" button to start the file conversion. When the WMV output file has been successfully generated, a download page will automatically load in the web browser.
  
  
• 4). Click on the WMV output file's "Download" link. Follow the instructions in the file download dialog box to store the video in a preferred location.
  
  

YouConvertIt

• 1). Launch a web browser and access the YouConvertIt service (see Resources). Select the "Convert File(s)" tab.
  
  
• 2). Hit the "Select It" button. In the file-selection window, locate the 3GP input file on your computer. Double-click on the video and the 3GP input file will appear on the page's conversion list.
  
  
• 3). Open the pull-down menu under "Convert To." Select the "Video File Types" heading and choose the "WMV" entry.
  
  
• 4). Type your contact information in the "Email Address" field. A notification email will be sent to this address when the WMV output file has been successfully generated. Hit the "Convert It!" button to start the file conversion.
  
  
• 5). Open your email. Follow the instructions in the notification email you have received to download the WMV output file and store it in a preferred location.
  
  

Zamzar

• 1). Launch a Web browser and access the Zamzar service (see Resources). The "Convert Files" tab should appear by default when the page loads. If it does not display automatically, manually select the tab.
  
  
• 2). Hit the "Browse" button in the "Step 1" field. In the file-selection window, locate the 3GP input file on your computer. Double-click on the video and the 3GP input file will appear on the page's conversion list.
  
  
• 3). Open the pull-down menu in the "Step 2" section and select the "WMV" entry.
  
  
• 4). Type your email address in the "Step 3" section. A notification email will be sent to this address when the WMV output file has been successfully generated. Hit the "OK" button to start the file conversion.
  
  
• 5). Open your email. Follow the instructions in the notification email you have received to download the WMV output file and store it in a preferred location.
