Body Building For Teenagers
In my last article about body building for teenagers I discussed about 4 important aspects that should be taken into account.
The 4 factors are: •Diet •Supplements •Workout regime •Psychological issues.
Talking about diet I explained that they need to take some extra calorie to meet there growing demands.
The new term that is being used by the nutritionist is known as balanced diet.
This is very crucial for a teenager to follow in order to build a healthy body.
What composes this balanced diet? Well balanced diet as the name includes consists of the 3 most important components of diet in appropriate quantity.
The 3 important components of any diet are: 1.
Fats 2.
Carbohydrates 3.
Proteins.
A balanced diet for teenagers who have started building body should contain a large amount of proteins.
As proteins are the building block of muscle mass, teenagers require 50-60% of their diet to be composed of protein.
The ideal food sources which are rich in proteins include: •Fish •Egg white •Cereals •Red meat •Liver A sufficient amount of carbohydrates is also required for teenagers.
One should remember that teenager's body requires an increased supply of fuel to their body.
This increased amount of fuel is provided in the form of carbohydrates.
Fat consumption should be limited to unsaturated fatty acids.
This is present in abundant in fish and cod liver oil.
Along with these teenagers would be given sufficient amount of green leaves, fruits and vegetables.
These contain minerals and vitamins which are needed for the hormonal activity of the body.
