Select a site, such as Ivy Joy or American Greetings, which offer customizable and printable Christmas cards. Some sites, including Ivy Joy, require no registration or fee to access all of the functions. A site such as American Greetings allows you to customize your card, but you must register and pay a fee to print the finished product. Use design functions to make individualized Christmas cards.

Upload digital photos from your computer. Add images to any page of your card. Select the option to upload or add photos. Choose each picture from your local Pictures folder. Selected pictures will appear in the template for you to select and add to the card.

    • 4). Choose from available fonts in the template. Sites, such as American Greetings and Ivy Joy, offer multiple fonts and font colors. Combine font styles and colors that complement the colors and style of your card. Comic Sans MS, for example, coordinates well with informal card images and messages. A handwriting font looks elegant on formal cards.

    • 5). Select a greeting. If the site you use offers a template with an option to add your own greeting, such as a poem, you will have more choices. Some sites, such as Ivy Joy, provide a list of greetings from which to choose.
