How to Get the Embed Code on Facebook Videos
- 1). Log in to your Facebook account. Click the "Photos" link underneath your profile picture.
- 2). Click the "Videos" link near the top of your "Photos" page. Click the name of the video you want to embed on your website.
- 3). Click the "Share" button on the video display page. Click the arrow next to the "padlock" icon in the "Share this Video" window. Select the "Everyone" option. Click the "Share Video" button. Click the "Close" button to close the "Share this Video" window.
- 4). Click the "Embed this Video" link on the video display page. Click inside the "Embed code" field to highlight all of the code in the box. Press the "Ctrl" + "C" keys to copy the code to the Windows Clipboard. Click the "Okay" button to close the "Embed your Video" window.
- 5). Open your preferred HTML or text editor. Open the file that contains the HTML code for the webpage in which you want to embed the video.
- 6). Scroll down to the part of the code where you want to display the Facebook video on your webpage. Press the "Ctrl" + "V" keys to post the code from the Facebook site. Save the HTML file.
- 7). Log in to your Web hosting account control panel. Upload the new file to your Web server.
- 8). Open a new tab or window in your Web browser. Navigate to the URL address for the new webpage. The Facebook videos displays on the page. Click the "Play" button to view the video.
