Strive for greatness in the likes of schools like New York University, University of Southern California and the University of California-Los Angeles.

    • 2). Spend your summers as an intern in media law. Try to find a media law firm in your law school's city. Take the opportunity to ask as many questions as possible during this time. Further, try to intern at a large media company such as FOX, CBS or NBC. Working at a local network affiliate can also provide valuable networking possibilities and job experience.

    • 3). Pass the bar. Don't be ashamed to shell out the funds for a BarBri course.

    • 4). Get a job. Get your foot in the door at a media law firm or media company. Your first job need not be glamorous; it's merely the stepping stone for a long and lucrative career in media law. Always carry yourself well at the office and network with passion.
