    • 1). Open the photograph you want to correct in Photoshop Elements by clicking the "File" menu and choosing "Open." Navigate to the image file, highlight it and click the "Open" button.

    • 2). Right-click the photo and choose the option "Quick Fix" from the pop-up menu.

    • 3). Select the Zoom tool from the toolbox and click on the eyes in the photograph to zoom in on them. If there are multiple sets of eyes that need to be fixed in the image, zoom in on one set at a time.

    • 4). Select the Red Eye Removal tool from the toolbox. Click and drag a selection around a single eye and release your mouse button. Photoshop Elements 6 will automatically fix the eye by removing any red or white tint and returning the natural color to the eye.

    • 5). Continue to drag selections around individual red eyes, scrolling the image if necessary.

    • 6). Zoom out by clicking the "Zoom Out" option to ensure that the corrections that Photoshop Elements 6 applied look realistic. If there are any problems with one of the corrections, access the "Edit" menu and choose "Undo" until the change disappears. Then, reselect the area with the Red Eye Removal tool.
