Profitable Blogging Strategies -Stop and Do This Now
One of the easiest ways to get people involved, interested and engaged in online marketing is to simply piggyback off of what they are already doing in their private lives...
and simply segueing those hobbies and passions into a profitable blogging strategy.
And this can really be extrapolated out into ANY business, niche or unusual interest.
Read on as I illustrate how an unusual interest has become a profitable strategy! I have a client who is FASCINATED by the paranormal.
Ghosts, Near Death Experiences, reincarnation, you name it, she loves it.
And, she came to me a while back to figure out a good way to start a home based business online.
I was completely in the dark (no pun intended..
:-) in terms of what she was interested in, or what she spent her private time doing.
After going over a few possible online affiliate opportunities I am a big fan of, and after she rejected each one as "not for me", "hmmm...
don't think I would be good at that", etc - I finally just asked her, in a dream scenario, what would she get up and do all day every day, if money wasn't an object? She said...
write about psychic phenomena, ghosts and everything else that goes creak in the night!Of course, she had already committed herself to the idea that there was NO way to make money from this online.
Boy, was she wrong...
and in one hour or less, I set out to prove it! Between Amazon book affiliate links, live psychic reading programs, learning programs on how to BECOME psychic, astral travel home study courses, highly EXPENSIVE ghost hunting gear and much more, in 45 minutes we had identified more than 20 separate channels she could use to monetize her blog, all the while taking what turned out to be about 300 pages of notes, thoughts, and experiences she had already typed up long before about the topic.
Within 2 days, she had a live site, making money, with great content, visitors coming...
and so much more.
And today...
this is all she does, each and every day - keeping the rest of us safe from things that may ( or may not..
;-) go bump in the night!I don't care what you love to do - there is a market for it, and if you've already discovered your passion, you are MORE than halfway there!Happy Blogging..
