The Georgia Bridal Show

• Every year, Elite Bridal Events LLC produces a variety of bridal shows in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina. Several of these shows will occur in the Atlanta area. At the bridal show, Atlanta brides will interact directly with wedding vendors, including photographers, caterers, bakeries, DJs, florists and honeymoon destination. As an added benefit, every bride that registers for the Georgia Bridal Show will receive a complimentary one-year subscription to Brides Magazine. Additionally, all brides will enter a contest with a grand prize of an all-inclusive honeymoon. Several locations in Atlanta host the Georgia Bridal Show, including the Cobb Galleria Centre and Gwinnett Center. Brides can purchase tickets for the event online for a discounted rate. International Bridal Affair

• Atlanta's International Bridal Affair event caters to brides from a variety of different cultures. Two South Asian women, who "wished to bridge the gap between their Indian and American culture," created the event. The first show targeted Asian-American brides who wished to plan a modern, yet traditional Indian wedding. After the first successful show, the event creators realized that brides of many other cultures could benefit from this type of service. As a result, the International Bridal Affair formed. The show now caters to a variety of brides, including traditional, South Asian, Hispanic and Jewish. In addition to meeting wedding vendors face to face, brides will also enjoy live entertainment, a live fashion show and complimentary massages, mini-facials and henna applications. A variety of Atlanta facilities host the event, including the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and Hyatt Regency.

Brides and Basketball

• Once a year, the Atlanta Hawks stadium opens up to brides, grooms and wedding vendors. Before that night's Hawks game, the stadium is set up as a bridal show with a variety of wedding vendors. Engaged couples wander around the show, interacting directly with photographers, caterers, wedding planners, bakeries, DJs and a variety of other vendors. All brides and grooms that attend the bridal show will receive a free ticket to that night's game. The vendor booths will be set up through halftime of the game.
