Current Economy Equals Opportunity!
The current state of the economy has a lot of people up in arms.
It is one vicious cycle.
People are losing their home because someone clever decided to come up with the idea of interest-only loans, adjustable rate mortgages, and any other type of creative ways to get people financed.
At the same time not explaining the terms or not explaining them clearly, and knowing the entire time that once the real payment was due the people would not be able to afford it.
As a result of people having their homes foreclosed on, banks lost money and tightened up their credit, which led to other people losing their jobs and more bills not being able to be paid.
The economy is at the worst it has been definitely since I have been alive and is being compared to the Great Depression of the 1930's.
Nobody knows how long it will to take to turn around but I am sure it will at one point, it is just a matter of time.
I know people do not want to hear it, but it will most likely take at least two years to turn around 180 degrees.
We will slowly see improvements in different sectors first, which should be sign that the light is at the end of the tunnel.
There are three main things you can do to make life a little easier during these times, or even when times are not so rough, which I will discuss in more detail in following articles.
I know it is hard to believe that there are more millionaires made in tough times than there are when times are good.
One reason is because it is much easier to get good deals when times are tough because people are trying to survive and selling items for well below value to have money to pay for something else.
Another reason is because when people are down they become more creative in order to pay the bills.
The information age has been for us, probably much more than we realize.
Imagine what a person living in the 30's would have done for something to keep them busy when they had no money to spend, not including the opportunity to make money with it! Here in Florida the unemployment is in the double digits, and unfortunately it probably will be for some time, so you cannot count on having a regular nine to five job and if you have one consider yourself lucky.
However, with a little creativity and using the power of the internet, this does not have to be a problem.
If you are like most people you would prefer working for yourself; not having to answer to anyone, setting your own schedule, working when you want to work and taking off when you want to take off, and just the freedom and enjoyment it gives.
It just takes a little hard work, but so does every job, and if you are like me you would rather see the money go to you and your family instead of some corporation.
I wanted to write this article to hopefully inspire at least one person to not pay attention to what is going on with the world, use what is inside of you to make your life successful! In Chinese, the word for chaos is the same word as opportunity, because chaos leads to opportunity.
I was paralyzed in a diving accident in April of 1999.
I broke my neck playing around in knee deep water.
Before my accident I took things for granted and never really appreciated what I had.
Instead of tearing me down, my accident helped turn me into a better person and not take for granted each day I am alive and the things I am capable of.
