Ski Maps

• As of August 2010 only three apps were available for skiers on iTunes. These charts are of Scandinavia, the United States and the Alps. Like all of the Navionics applications on iTunes, these require iPhone OS 3.1 or later. However, unlike others they are not available in HD.
  
  

Marine and Lake Maps

• The majority of the charts available for download on iTunes are for marine or lake destinations. These applications not only include detailed maps but also allow searches by category. Additionally, they contain addresses and other contact information for local businesses and organizations as well as pictures tagged to specific locations.
  
  

iPad Apps

• While all of the Navionics applications on iTunes are compatible with the iPad, some of them are programmed exclusively for the iPad. These marine and lake apps are in HD and cost more than their iPhone and iPad touch compatible counterparts.
