    Do You Really Know Me?

    • To test how well the people attending the baby shower know the parents, try this memory game. Compile a list of questions about the couple, with such questions as: Where did they meet? Where did they go on their honeymoon? How many brothers and sisters do they have? Give everyone paper and pencil and ask all the questions to the group. Have the shower attendees write down their answers, and then have each person pass their answer sheet to someone else. The parents now answer each question as the sheets are marked with correct and incorrect answers. The person with the most correct answers wins a prize.

    Baby Photo Quiz

    • Ask each person attending the baby shower to bring a baby photo of themselves to the gathering, along with a current photograph. On a large bulletin board or easel, display all the baby photos and current photos. The object of the game is to match babies with adults. Mark the baby photos as B1, B2, B3, etc., and the adult photos as A1, A2, A3, etc. Guests must try to match the photos, writing their answers on pieces of paper. The winner receives a prize.

    Baby Nicknames

    • To play this game, ask all the party attendees to bring a handful of quarters with them. As guests arrive at the baby shower, each is given a stick-on name tag on which is written a nickname that is suitable for babies, such as "Tiny Tot" or "Diaper Dandy." The goal is for everyone to address each other by baby nickname instead of her actual name. When people slip up and call someone by her real name instead of what's written on the name tag, they must put a quarter into a new piggy bank. At the end of the shower, the piggy bank is given to the parents-to-be as a gift for the baby.

    Remember the Items

    • Place 20 or so baby-themed items on a large tray or on top of a coffee table and cover them with a blanket or towel. You can use a diaper pin, a pacifier, a baby bottle, a night light, a stuffed animal, Q-tips, a bib, a rattle, etc. Have everyone gather around the covered items, with paper and pencils close at hand. Uncover the items and start a timer for one or two minutes. The contestants are not allowed to write anything down while the items are uncovered. When the time period ends and the items are covered again, the guests begin writing down the items they saw. Whoever writes down the most correct items is the winner.
