How to Sync Music on a Restored iPod
- 1). Plug the iPod cable into the iPod's dock connector, and plug the other end of the cable into your computer's USB or FireWire port.
- 2). Open iTunes on your Mac by clicking the program's icon on the screen dock, or open it on your Windows PC by clicking "Start" on the taskbar, and click "Programs" and "iTunes."
- 3). Click the iPod tab in the iTunes sidebar on the left side of the iTunes program window, and click the Music tab.
- 4). Click the box next to "Sync Music." Select "Entire music library" or "Selected playlists, artists, and genres." Click the box next to the playlists, artists or genres you want to sync to your iPod if you chose the latter option. Optionally, check the box next to "Include music videos" if you have an iPod that supports video playback.
- 5). Click the "Apply" button in the right corner of the iTunes window. Manually unplug the iPod cable from your computer after the "iPod sync is complete" message is displayed at the top of your iTunes window.
