Audio

• Most major audio file formats are compatible with the iTouch. These include M4A/M4P, MP3, Apple Lossless and WAV. Audiobook content purchased from Audible (AAX or AAX+ files) are also compatible with the iTouch. Audio files can range in quality from 8 to 320 kbps.
  
  

Video

• The iTouch is compatible with most MP4, MOV and M4V video files. Video for the iTouch must be 30 frames per second and use the H.264 compression standard. Video can be be up to 640 by 480 pixels in size.
  
  

Incompatible formats

• Audio formats that are not compatible with the iTouch include FLAC, OGG Vorbis, APE and WMA. Video files incompatible with the iTouch include RMVB, WMV, and various forms of MPEG.
