What Do You Do When You Still Love Him?
You have tried to deny the way that you feel, as you thought that would be the quick fix that you needed. You know that deep down inside, as much as you might try and deny that it is there, you still have a lot of love for the man that you allowed to get away. Maybe things did not seem right at the time, but looking back, you can see that you could have worked things out. Now, you have to deal with the fact that you are still in love with your ex boyfriend and you need to find a way to deal with this.
You could just try and go and talk to him and tell him the way that you feel. On the surface, that sounds like it would be about the best thing that you can do. However, you are also aware that if you don't get this right, that you might never be able to work things out with him. It's a sad thing to still be in love with someone and to feel like there is nothing that you can do about it.
What can you do when you find that you are still in love with him?
The first thing that I would say is that you need to make sure that this is more than just a fleeting feeling. You need to make sure that you are going to still feel this way a day from now, a week from now, and so on. It's not too uncommon for a woman to feel like she is still in love with someone and then find that in a few weeks - that feeling begins to fade away.
When you know that it is for real and that it is not a passing feeling, that is when you need to find a way to make things work out with him. You have to find a way to make him fall in love with you again in such a way that he finds himself thinking about working things out with you. That way, you don't have to feel as though you are putting too much effort into it. He will at least be meeting you halfway. You also won't run the risk that you get heartbroken and rejected.
It's hard to take that first step and that is really the most important one that you can take. When you can force yourself to make that first move towards rekindling that love with him, that is when you will know that you are on track to get your love back.
