    • 1). Log into your server from the login screen on your computer. Click the "Start" button and click on the "Search" box. Type "gpedit.msc" into the search box and press the "Enter" button. The Group Policy Editor will open.

    • 2). Right-click on the "Software Restrictions" option in the left pane. Select the "New Software Restriction" option from the menu. Click on the "Security Levels" icon from the next menu that appears.

    • 3). Click on the "Disallowed" option from the screen and right-click on the "Additional Rules" option. Click on the "New Path Rule" option that appears on the menu. Click the "Browse" option and select the program that you want to restrict from the pop-up menu.

    • 4). Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the software window to enable the restriction. Close the Group Policy Editor.
