How to Open the BIN File Extension
- 1). Download and install either the VLC Player, SMPlayer or Windows Media Player Classic (see Resources). All three of these programs can be downloaded at no cost and are free of spyware.
- 2). Double-click on the file you want to play. It should be now associated with the program you installed.
- 3). Right-click on the file if it is still not associated with the program you installed. In the pop-up menu select "Open With" and select "Choose Default Program."
- 4). Click on the icon for the player you installed if it is there. If not, click on the "browse" button and select it in that menu. All BIN files will now be associated with that program.
