How to Use an iPod Touch with iOS 4

    • 1). Press the "Power" button on the iPod Touch to turn it on.

    • 2). Tap the "App Store" icon to launch that application. You can browse through the available applications in the App Store. Then select, download and automatically install them to your iPod Touch iOS 4.

    • 3). Plug the sync cable into the "Sync" port on the iPod Touch, then plug the other end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer. Launch the iTunes application on your computer to sync the iPod Touch with music, videos and images in your iTunes library by clicking the "Sync" button in the iTunes application main window.

    • 4). Tap the "iPod" icon on the iPod Touch iOS 4 to launch the media library application. Select a music or video file from that library. Tap the "Play" button to view a video or listen to the music selection.

    • 5). Tap the "FaceTime" icon on the iPod Touch iOS 4 to launch the application, then scroll through the list of available contacts and select a FaceTime contact. Tap the "Call" button in the application to call the contact from the list.
