You see, these shakes still have tons of protein in them.
Not only that, you also get boatloads of carbohydrates in them as well.
This is a perfect combination for gaining weight and building lean muscle.
Just beware that these contain fairly large amounts of sugar.
So before you do on this, you better have the self discipline to stay away from sugary foods or you will begin to gain fat rather than muscle.

Slow Down We work out for one reason and one reason only...
The women.
Just kidding :-) The whole point of working out is so that we can break down our muscle fibers and begin the process of rebuilding them larger and stronger.
Getting maximum muscle tear should be your only goal with weight lifting.
And this is achieved by lifting slowly.
Take about 3-4 seconds to both lift and lower the weight (total of 6-8 seconds).
This will eliminate any momentum you were using to lift the weight and place the entire load on your muscles.
You are going to be VERY sore the next day if you do this properly.
