If you have eczema, you know how uncomfortable a flare up can be.
Your skin itches, starts scaling and the affected area turns red.
It is a pain to try to touch anything with the affected area because of the pain, and if it is in a visible area, you become very self-conscious of it and you do not want anyone to see it.
When I started suffering from eczema, I tried a lot of creams that promised to relieve this symptoms, but regretfully no one really helped, and the flare ups came back even worse each time.
That is when I started investigating natural remedies for eczema and I found this recipe for a healing moisturizer that helped me ease the itch and redness of my skin.
You will need: 1.
Licorice Extract.
Licorice extract is known to be a powerful natural anti-inflammatory which can provide quick relief from the swelling and redness of eczema as well as acting as a pain reliever.
You'll find that there is less pain, irritation and perhaps most importantly of all, less itching when you use a product which contains this ingredient.
2.
Blueberry extract.
blueberry leaves can protect your skin from bacteria and other disease-causing microbes.
3.
Natural lotion that is free of dyes, oils, and fragrances.
Go for an aloe vera or zinc based lotion instead when you make your own eczema natural remedies.
To add the extracts to your lotion, start by applying your normal quantity of lotion to the palm of your hand.
Then add 2 drops of blueberry extract and 1 to 2 drops of licorice, depending on how bad your eczema is, to the lotion in your hand.
Use your finger to mix the extracts into the lotions.
Then, apply the lotion as you normally would.
