Il Toscano

• This family-run Italian restaurant has been in operation since 1985. On the menu, pasta dishes sit alongside steaks, veal chops with gnocchi, lobster dishes and whole baby chicken with Tuscan sausage. The restaurant's décor wouldn't look out of place in Italy; wooden beams on the ceiling and saucepans and pots hanging from the walls give it a rustic feel. There are three rooms available for private hire. This restaurant is open on all major holidays except Christmas and New Year's Day.
  
  

La Baraka

• La Baraka offers combination of traditional French and North African cuisine, from beef Bourguignon and sole Provencale to lamb shish kebabs and cous cous. The décor is retro, with pink tablecloths and old-fashioned French posters hanging from the walls. La Baraka caters to private events -- the entire restaurant can be hired out - as well as hosting parties for Bastille Day and Mardi Gras.
  
  

Giardino's

• Giardino's offers the opportunity to dine in opulent surroundings, think dripping chandeliers and gold-plated mirrors. A conservatory also offers al fresco dining. The pizzas here are cooked in a wood-fired brick oven, and toppings stick to traditional ingredients such as the margarita and the rugoletta with prosciutto and Grana Padano cheese. Pasta dishes abound too, but their signature meals include baked salmon with zucchini, sea bass in breadcrumbs and stewed pork sausage. The restaurant can host private parties of up to 100 people and can tailor-make a catering menu for each occasion.
  
  

Mazur's Marketplace and Restaurant

• This eatery has a grocery market next door selling kosher food and also offers a catering menu. This family-friendly restaurant is ideal for grabbing a quick bite to eat, rather than a long dinner experience. It can also get very busy, so be prepared to wait. The menu includes soup with matzo balls, Hungarian meatballs, falafels, burgers and a variety of sandwiches and salads.
