Bladder cancer research is now increasing with leaps and bounds as the number of patients is also on the rise. But like bladder cancer, the men's cancer - prostate cancer is also to be diagnosed early. The prostate test which detects a single cancer cell passing in urine should be encouraged for a better and healthy nation.

There can be a highly sensitive test whose accuracy is the best in the case of early cancer detection, providing an alternative to the conventional undesirable testing method. A new study suggests that this new method can have around 85% sensitivity but it cannot detect tiny tumors.

Urine sample analysis for diagnosing cervical cancer is like finding a drop of water in a river because cancer cells are generally hidden amidst a cloud of normal cells. Detection is even more difficult when the patient has kidney stones, bladder stones or urinary tract infection, as the bodies produce more normal cells. This whole method empowers the doctors with a high sensitivity for detection of cancer. Prostate cancer is relatively difficult as it gives out 100 times fewer cells.

Bladder cancer is very much curable if it is detected early. Needless deaths can be prevented if this new, non-invasive method proves to be highly accurate. And the diagnosis would be done through a urine test which is far more comfortable than an endoscopy inside the urinary tract - which many patients find to be uncomfortable, unpleasant and invasive. It is mandatory for patients with this disease to undergo the conventional test every 3-6 months as it has a high risk of recurrence.

Bladder Cancer patients should be aware of many things like breathing polluted air harms not only the lungs but also leads to bladder cancer or UBC - Urinary Bladder Cancer as it is called. Also, additives in processed meat like sausages and bacon could also increase the cancer risk. The slats like sodium nitrite and nitrate in spicy foods can form cancerous products while mixing with stomach acids during digestion. This new research study suggests that the risk for this disease could be up by 30%.

Bladder cancer patients should be aware about such new developments in the field which can either help them to reduce risk as they would know about different risks associated with cancer or either the new developmental progress to find cures whose alertness can be spread and supported by all those who are victimized by the disease.
