How to Make Molds for Stepping-Stones
- 1). Cut four pieces of wood each measuring 3 1/2 inches in width and 12 inches in length. You can use inexpensive lumber for this project. Your lumber should be 1/2-inch-thick plank.
- 2). Cut a square measure 11 inches by 11 inches for the bottom piece. This can from any sheet of lumber, but should be approximately 1/2 inch thick.
- 3
Nail one length of wood to the bottom piece, leaving one inch from the bottom of the 12-inch length. The bottom piece should be secured to this piece with a 1-inch space beneath and 2-inch space above. - 4
Repeat step three to install the other three pieces. This creates your box. - 5
Nail the corners together for stability. The corners should fit together in an overlapping style. Your mold is now ready to use.
