Mending a Broken Relationship - Is There a Remedy?

Many of us have found ourselves in a situation where we have split up with our significant other,and feel as if we have a grasp on exactly why that breakup occurred.
However, you may not realize the fact that breakups don't simply happen out of the blue and there are usually underlying problems which cause them to take place.
It can be a single event, or it maybe you both said things that you later regret,or it could be a combination of many small or large problems.
If you are able to discover what those problems are, you will have a much better opportunity of getting your ex back.
One of the first things you need to do whenever you are looking for the cause of the problem is to take off the rose-colored glasses and take a good hard look at the relationship.
This can especially be difficult when you first breakup and the pain of the loss is still very strong with you.
If necessary, enlist the help of a counsellor so that you talk over your concerns in private.
There are problems in using your friends for this, so be careful here.
Once you discover what the problem actually is, you can go about beginning to correct it and see if your relationship can be salvaged.
If you decide this relationship is important to you and worth fighting for, then it is worth apologizing and asking for another chance.
In the meantime, try to maintain a level of friendship between you and your ex.
This will help to make it a much more natural thing whenever you are able to make the needed changes and the two of you can naturally move back into the relationship again.
