Revealed: Online Marketing Is NOT Duplicable In MLM!
I've reached the conclusion that internet marketing is just not duplicable IF you're trying to build a NETWORK MARKETING DOWNLINE! See I've researched personalities and there are 4 major types, which I'll talk about on a later post.
For example, I'm good with technology and figuring things out but I'm not that good around people.
On the other hand someone could be GREAT around people, but not so technical.
So why in the world would I tell my new associate to jump online and start doing SEO or Pay-Per-Click when he or she could talk to people and earn money FASTER? Now some individuals might be looking over this and saying "well that's untrue, I'm building my business ENTIRELY on the web and I'm making money".
Great, but is your team DUPLICATING??? That's the big question! Not only have I talked to many top industry leaders like Ray Higdon who tells me the exact same thing but I've come to realize that it's really true because we live in a world of totally different individuals.
There are many different kinds of people in the world and when you enroll a whole new member inside your business, that individual will be different than you.
Maybe you find online marketing to be amazing but maybe they won't.
Therefore trying to tell EVERYONE on your team that they should market online is the DEADLIEST mistake you can possibly make for your business.
WHY? Because you're gonna have everyone attempting to setup their blog, setup their capture page, setup their email autoresponder, determine their marketing strategy, purchase the tools, etc.
By the time all that is complete, 3-4 months will have passed by, they will have spent more money than they made, and they'll QUIT out of your business.
Why could they possibly quit your business? Because you have 68-90 days to help the typical network marketer make a check before she or he decides to quit.
Learning internet marketing is a 6-12 months learning curve JUST to get going, ESPECIALLY if you're not using a system.
If they don't make money fast enough, then...
Good-Bye Rep!! So what can you do to help your new team member receive a commission and become profitable as quickly as possible? Well, believe it or not they should start with their current warm market.
You know, that thing called "Friends And Family".
Now I am a believer that it does work but to a certain extent.
See when I first started building my opportunity, I made a $200 commission pretty quickly and I did it by contacting some people from my warm market.
Now don't get me wrong here.
Trying to persuade your broke friend Sara who's very negative is NOT what you have to do.
But if your new rep knows individuals who are sharp, motivated, professionals, they should at the very least find out if those folks are open to starting a new business.
They can use this simple line: "Hey (professional-motivated-sharp-warm-market-prospect-that-I-already-know), I just started a new business and I'm looking for really sharp professionals like yourself to work with.
I wanted to see if you keep your options open to creating any cashflow outside of what you're currently doing in your (whatever profession).
Maybe we could make some money together.
If so great.
If not, no problem.
" Some people will say "YES".
Some people will say "NO".
It's just part of the game.
But doing that approach is so much better and PROFITABLE than trying to have your brand-new rep start learning blogging and article marketing, which can get them running out the door faster than they entered.
Now if that distributor has ran through their warm market and they don't have anyone else to talk to, then that's a different story.
They have to learn ways to generate more leads but that could be offline or online.
Not everyone will have the right mindset when coming over to the online world and the fact is that only 1 person out of every 100 people that attempt online marketing actually succeeds and makes money.
99 out of 100 people who come online will NEVER generate a dime because once they find out how much work really needs to be done, they quit before they even get started.
And those who do get started don't make money fast enough so they quit as well.
Do you really want to play against the odds? I don't think so.
Remember the internet is a TOOL to help you expand your business.
But BILLION dollar MLM companies have been built WITHOUT the internet.
