How to Override MS Office
- 1). Right-click the file you want to change that overrides Microsoft Office. Select "Open With" to open the configuration windows.
- 2). Click "Choose Default Program." Navigate to the program's executable file. For instance, if you want to use "MyProgram" to open the file, type "c:\program files\myprogram\myprogram.exe" into the text box.
- 3). Check the box labeled "Always Use The Selected Program To Open This Kind Of File." This sets the program to load when you double-click the file. Click "Open" to save your settings.
