How do I Use the iPod Nano With Win2000?
- 1). Download a version of iTunes that is version 7.3.2 or earlier. Apple no longer offers these versions on their site, but they can easily be found on other sites. The OldApps website, for instance, has every version of iTunes from 4.1 to the most current. It is recommended that you use version 7.3.2 to have the most features and compatibility with the iPod, while still being able to use the software in conjunction with Windows 2000.
- 2). Plug the iPod Nano into the computer using an iPod-specific USB cable. These cables are provided with all new iPods, and can also be purchased at any Apple store, as well as online from Apple.com.
- 3). Allow the iPod to communicate with iTunes. After a brief wait, the iPod will show up on the left-hand side of the iTunes menu. It can now be edited to the user's desires.
