The Difference Between Single-Player Zombies and Multiplayer

    Accumulating Points

    • The biggest difference between acquiring points in single-player and in multiplayer is that points must initially be shared in the beginning of a multiplayer game. There are fewer points to go around in the first few rounds of a multiplayer game, which means that everyone needs to kill the zombies in his assigned area only and repair the barriers in just his area. In single-player, you must kill all zombies and repair barriers frequently if you want to survive, but in multiplayer the duties and points must be shared to ensure the team's survival.

    Strategy

    • Single-player and multiplayer strategy varies greatly in "Nazi Zombies." Most single-player strategies involve creating a "run route," which entails running around the map in a specific route and killing only the zombies in front of you. In multiplayer, run routes are discouraged as they can lead to players getting cornered and killed. Multiplayer strategies usually consist of teams attempting to hold off the oncoming zombies in a specific area of the map. Once in the area or room, team members spread out and cover different entrances, exits and windows.

    Perks

    • In single-player, purchase as many perks as possible with Juggernog being the top priority. Also purchase Quick Revive as it is the only way to revive yourself if you fall in single-player. In multiplayer, make sure that all players are buying their perks when they can so that there are no weak links on the team. At least one member of the team should have the Quick Revive perk to help fallen comrades get to their feet faster and everyone should have Juggernog.

    Weapons

    • Getting the best guns is the most important part of any "Nazi Zombies" game. In single-player, you will spend a lot of time at the Mystery Box trying to get the best gun to appear. The Mystery Box plays a big role in multiplayer as well with team members waiting to take their turn to try to get the best gun. In multiplayer, teams sometime assign combat-specific roles such as tank or medic. These roles may require a player in multiplayer to pass on a weapon if it does not fit their role.
