How to Get Help for a House That Is Overrun With Asian Beetles

    • 1). Inspect all areas of your home where you suspect the beetles to be. Make note of any large concentrations of the bugs and focus on them when you begin the process of exterminating them.

    • 2). Place a nylon stocking around the vacuum's extension hose and secure it with a rubber band.

    • 3). Vacuum the beetles in small groups. The bugs will get caught on the nylon stocking (and not enter your vacuum bag). To get rid of them, slide the nylon off the vacuum and secure the rubber band so it holds the bugs in. Dispose of them this way.

    • 4). Use indoor pesticides if vacuuming isn't working. While pesticides aren't that effective on Asian beetles, they can sometimes help reduce the population.

    • 5). Call an exterminator. If your efforts aren't working to remove the infestation of bugs, call a professional to assess the situation and try to mitigate the problem.
