How to Adjust the Height of a Reel Mower
- 1). Loosen and remove the bolts from both sides of the mower's rear roller.
- 2). Raise the cutting height by sliding the roller down and re-installing the bolts through a higher hole on the plastic roller bracket. Lower the cutting height by sliding the roller up and re-installing the bolts through a lower hole on the bracket.
- 3). Place one end of your ruler on the ground next to the mower and measure the height of the roller.
- 4). Tighten the bolts securely with your adjustable wrench if the cutting height is appropriate.
