Home Grout Cleaning
- 1). Pour 3 cups baking soda into a bowl with 1 cup warm water.
- 2). Stir the two ingredients with a spoon until you get a consistent paste about the texture of peanut butter.
- 3). Dip a nylon scrub brush into the paste. Don't use any metal or wire brushes as this will often damage grout as well as surrounding tile.
- 4). Scrub along the grout lines, scrubbing back and forth until you remove all residue. Continue across the grouted surface.
- 5). Wipe down the grout with a wet rag to remove the baking soda residue. Let the grout air dry and repeat the cleaning process if any residue is present.
