Why The Bumbleride Queen B Stroller Works For Me

Having a new baby sparks a buying frenzy - there are so many things you need - but the stroller must be among the most significant. As well as being at the high end of the price spectrum, it is the one item you'll most likely be using more than the rest put together. It is therefore imperative that you do as much research as you can before making your selection, to ensure that the stroller you go for fulfils all of the requirements you have.

I've had a baby and a stroller for five months now, and I'm writing this review to break down the advantages and disadvantges of my own model - the BumbleRide Queen B Stroller - to help you decide whether it is suitable for you as well. In this article I'll be talking about the stroller's safety features, it's hardiness, it's manoeverability and ease of use - and elaborating on the pros and cons of each.

How Durable Is It?

Ive found the BumbleRide Queen B to be highly durable. The aluminium chassis is very sturdy, and the fabrics are all removable and machine washable. As far as lifespan goes - this stroller will last as long as your infant needs it - with the ability to carry up to 65 pounds and the optional toddler seat entension.

Mobility.

The BumbleRide Queen B has the best set of wheels I've seen on any stroller. It is so easy to push - the clever addition of inflatable 12 inch tyres mean that even most demanding tracks cause the stroller no issues at all. The front wheels are steerable, but not as easy as some other strollers around particularly tight corners.

Ease Of Use.

Versatility is key to the BumbleRide Queen B, and you will find you can put your newborn straight into the bassinet from day one - later transferring to the seat when they are big enough. The stroller collapses to a size of 20 inches wide by 23 inches deep by 39 inches high - which will fit into most car trunks, even without removing the wheels (which can be easily done if needs be).

Is It Safe?

The key safety features on the BumbleRide Queen B are the five point safety harness with a cushioned headrest and shoulder pads - which secure your infant in comfort. As well as the harness, a bumper bar across the front ensures your child stays put at all times.

Benefits For You.

Nice bonuses packaged with the BumbleRide Queen B are a cup holder, pump for the tyres and a foot muff. The handle adjusts between 30 and 42 inches for easy interchange between you and your partner. The stroller will also fit many different car seats from several manufacturers via its adaptor.

Good For Baby.

Luxury and comfort for your child are key to the BumbleRide Queen B Stroller. This is provided by the clever cushioning surrounding baby and on the harness, the fully adjustable backrest, and the large tyres giving a bump-free ride.

What Hasnt Impressed Me?

My main criticism is the maneuverability - I find that the turning circle is larger than I would have liked, and it can be difficult to turn in tight spaces such as on public transport or in the shops. It is also quite heavy, which exacerbates the problem. The other problem is the reversible seat - which you have to take out completely in order to switch positions. Other models such as the BumbleRide Flyer have a mechanism for changing it without needing to remove it.
