How to Write Letters to Santa for Free

    • 1). Visit a website that receives and sends Santa Claus letters. "Santa at Home," "Email Santa," and "St. Nick's Place" are a few that work well.

    • 2). Fill in your or your child's basic information. Most websites require gender, name, age, city/state and an email address.

    • 3). Enter how you or your child have behaved this year. In some cases you fill in this section with your own wording. Other websites allow you to select a behavior from a list.

    • 4). Write what you or your child wish to receive for Christmas. Some websites allow you to write as much as you would like. Other websites give you three to five spaces to list Christmas presents you desire.

    • 5). Add additional comments if the website offers that option. You can tell Santa a story or something you like about him. You may also have the option to chose a specific stamp to attach. Selecting a hug, kiss or reindeer food may be another attachment from which to choose.

    • 6). Click on the button that says "Send Letter to Santa."

    • 7). Wait for a response email from Santa. Expect a reply the same day.
