Place a craft stick on the the unfinished side of a chipboard cereal box. Mark the top and bottom of the craft stick. Draw an angel's dress on the chipboard. Use the metal ruler to keep your lines straight. Make sure that the neckline of the dress is below the top craft stick mark, and the hem of the skirt is above the bottom mark. Cut out the dress with a sharp pair of scissors, then turn it over and trace around it on the chipboard underneath. Cut out the second angel dress, as well.

Lay two craft sticks side-by-side on the finished side of one of the angel's dresses. Mark the sides with pencil. Then use hot glue to attach the craft sticks to the cardboard. Attach the second dress on top of this.

Draw a circular or ovular shape on the cardboard scraps. Cut it out, then turn it over and trace it on another part of the box. Attach each shape to the craft sticks at the angel's neck line with hot glue.

Use the ruler to measure the center of four craft sticks. Place them over a piece of chipboard and cut them in half with a craft blade.

Cut down two stick halves so that they're just a little bit shorter than the others. Use a pair of pliers to break off the pieces if necessary.

Use a chipboard scrap to spread some craft glue on the craft stick segments. Insert them between the angel dress pieces and press down. Use three pieces for each wing. Then cut down the remaining two craft sticks so that they are just long enough to form hands at the ends of the sleeves. Use craft glue to secure these, also. Place one piece of cereal box beneath the angel craft, and place another piece on top. Set some heavy books on top of the craft and allow it to sit for several hours.

Use a paint brush to apply glue to the wings of the angel. Sprinkle them with gold glitter and shake the excess off into a paper plate. Paint hair and features on the face. Insert a small wire loop inside the top of the head with pliers. Tie a string to display the angel ornament on the Christmas tree.
