Drink water! Drinking water helps you with short term memory loss.
A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory.
That small percentage drop in body water can effect ones ability to do several things.
For example when using the computer or reading printed material you might have a hard time focusing, that means your percentage of body water has dropped.
One can have trouble with their basic math skills when their body water drops down too.
Helpful hints to stay fully hydrated to not be effected by any drop.
* When working on the computer make sure to take breaks and drink water.
* Put a glass of water next to homework or paperwork so it is readily available to drink.
* When reading do the same.
* Before leaving for school or work drink a glass of water or eat plenty of fruit.
* Take water to school or work.
* Put water and vegetables in lunches.
* When getting home drink water and eat vegetables before dinner.
Reminder when you feel thirsty it is too late, that is a sign of dehydration.
Remember five servings a day of fruits and veggies can deliver up to 20 percent of your daily water requirements, plus plenty of extra nutrients.
Your best bets: melons, grapes, and citrus fruits, as well as tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots.
Do you know how much 2% drop in body water is for you? I am sure you have heard drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.
That amount is for a 130-160 pound person.
You need to drink more or less depending on your weight.
