The US Must Guard UAV Bases With a Vengeance to Protect Our War Efforts

Everyone knows that the insurgents, terrorists, Pirates, and other mischief makers around the world do not like the idea of aerial drones spying on them.
They realize that their days are numbered, and some of these aerial drones are armed with hellfire missiles, which basically means; they can be taken out at any time.
The good guys probably think it is wonderful to have this awesome tool of the trade to keep peace in the world.
In many regards it's akin to terrorizing the terrorists, which I suppose serves them right.
There's only one problem with that; it also makes our drone bases, and those places that are often thousands of miles away which fly these drones targets.
This is why the United States should probably consider enhanced security at these facilities.
If you'll recall, Pakistan got very upset after a border incident involving NATO troops and attack helicopters.
They demanded that the United States remove its drones from an airport military base in their country.
Okay so, let's talk about this for a second shall we? There's a very good book that I might like to recommend to you, which I would like to cite in my article here today, that book is titled; "The Command of the Air" by Giulio Douhet.
Indeed, I think you can buy a copy from Amazon, and it is available from the University of Alabama Press, (2009), ISBN: 978-0-8173-5608-8.
This book is based on and re-printed from Giulio Douhet's 1929 work.
Now then, on the bottom of page 18, the author asserts that since it is hard to combat aerial assets, or shoot them down, which is also true today, he suggests pre-empting those assets on the ground before they strike.
He likens it to attacking the eggs in a bird's nest, rather than waiting for the bird to take off and attack you.
Perhaps early humans had considered this trying to run away from pterodactyls.
In fact, I've seen a science fiction theme along these lines, and a few movies which had giant pterodactyls in the modern day attacking humans - it seems to be a common genre.
Now then, in this regard I have a question to ask; A.
) Since this is an obvious statement based on common sense, shouldn't the US be ready for attacks on their drone bases in the US outside of Las Vegas NV, Alamogordo NM, Pakistan, Ethiopia, and the base at the Madagascar regional island, etc? Shouldn't we defend these bases more robustly? Shouldn't we expect attacks? Indeed I would like to preempt my reader today and go ahead, and answer the question myself.
My answer is unfortunately; absolutely.
Thus, we better check-six early and often, because the bad guys want to attack our drone bases, I bet they are plotting as we speaketh.
Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
