    • Make sure that you have the most recent version of iTunes. Open iTunes. You can find video to buy or download for free in both the "Movies" and "TV Shows" sections that you can access by hitting either tab at the top of the iTunes screen. You can also access music videos within the "Music" section. Click the "Music" tab. Then click the "Music Videos" link in the right-hand column. The "Music Videos" link is the first under the "Music Quick Links" header. Select and download the videos you want. Connect your smartphone to your computer with the appropriate cord they came with. Once your computer detects your smartphone, it will appear in the left-hand column of the iTunes screen, underneath the "Devices" section, which is the third one, underneath "Library" and "Store." Click the icon of your smartphone, or anywhere on its row in the "Devices" section so that the row is highlighted and your smartphone's "Summary" page is showing.

Unless your music collection on your hard drive or external hard drive is very small, you do not want to load it all to your smartphone. Create a separate playlist for your music videos so that you can find them easily on your smartphone. Click "Music" just underneath the "Library" section in the left-hand column of your iTunes screen. Click the "File" column and the "New Playlist" option underneath it. Name your playlist. Click "Purchased" in the "Store" section of the left-hand column, find your music video(s), and then drag them into the playlist.

    Syncing your Smartphone with iTunes

    • Once you have selected the movie, TV show, and music video(s) you want, click the "Apply" box in the lower-right hand corner of the iTunes screen. Your iTunes program will copy what you have selected onto your smartphone. Do not disconnect your smartphone until iTunes tells you that it is safe to do so.
