    Adding a Font (Windows)

    • 1). Download the desired font to your PC.

    • 2). Select "Start" and "Control Panel."

    • 3). Double-click on the "Fonts" folder.

    • 4). Drag the downloaded font to the Fonts folder.

    Adding a Font (Mac)

    • 1). Download the desired font to your Mac.

    • 2). Navigate to the library by opening "Finder" and selecting "Macintosh HD," "Users," "[Account Name]," "Library" and "Fonts."

    • 3). Drag the downloaded font to the "Fonts" folder.

    • 4). For users with the Fontbook application on Mac OS X, open Fontbook by selecting the "Applications" folder and choosing "Fontbook."

    • 5). Drag the downloaded font into the "All Fonts" section (or select "File"and "Add Fonts," then choose the new font).

    Testing the New Font

    • 1). Open Photoshop CS.

    • 2). Select the "Type" tool from the "Tools" palette, located on the right side of the screen by default.

    • 3). Select the recently downloaded font from the "Set the Font Family" drop-down box, located by default at the top of the screen.

    • 4). Click inside the document with the Type tool and begin entering text with the new font.
