    Mozilla Firefox

    • 1). Open the web browser and move your mouse to the "History" button on the task bar at the top of the page. Click on the button to open the drop-down menu. If you do not have a mouse, press "Alt" and the "S" key simultaneously on your keyboard to open this menu.

    • 2). Move your mouse to the drop-down menu option that says "Show All History" and click on it. Press the "Ctrl," "Shift" and "H" keys simultaneously on your keyboard to bring up the browsing history automatically if you do not have a mouse.

    • 3). Select the webpage you want to view from the available list. Scroll through the list using your mouse or the down arrow key on your keyboard.

    Microsoft Internet Explorer

    • 1). Open a browsing session with Internet Explorer and move the mouse cursor to the "Favorites" tab in the task bar. Click on the "Favorites" tab to open the drop-down menu. Alternatively, you can press "Alt" and "F" simultaneously to open this menu.

    • 2). Move the mouse to the "History" tab in the open menu and click on it. You may also press "Ctrl," "Shift" and "H" on your keyboard at the same time to open the browser history menu.

    • 3). Click on the down arrow in the view history menu to select how you would like to view the browser history. Select whether you would like to view the history by date, website name, most visited websites, order visited or search for a specific website. Alternatively, press the "Tab" key on the keyboard, then use the down arrow key to scroll through these options.

    Google Chrome

    • 1). Navigate with your mouse to the control button for Google Chrome once the browser is open. It is the button at the top-right corner of the browser that looks like a wrench. Click on the button to open the drop-down menu.

    • 2). Move your mouse to the "History" tab and click on it to open the web browser history. If you do not have a mouse or want to save time, simply press "Ctrl" and "H" simultaneously while the browser is selected to open your recent history.

    • 3). Navigate your mouse to the new tab that opened with the history in it. Click on the tab to view your browser history listed by pages visited. Scroll down the list using your mouse or by pressing the down arrow key on your keyboard. Type in a specific history search in the bar at the top of the window to find an exact entry.
