How to Strap a Foot for Plantar Facsiitis

    • 1). Use the tape adherent to spray the bottom and sides of your foot.

    • 2). Stick one end of a strip of the 1-1.5 inch athletic tape on your fifth (pinky or little) toe joint. Wrap the strip around your heel and bring it around to the arch side of your foot then press your big toe joint down to mimic a high arch.

    • 3). Attach the tape to your first (big) toe joint. Repeat this wrap several times.

    • 4). Tape one end of a strip of the 2-3 inch athletic tape to the outside of your foot, near the heel. Wrap it around and under your foot towards the arch and adhere the other end to the inner side of your foot.

    • 5). Wrap another strip of the 2-3 inch athletic tape starting further up the foot toward the toes on the outside of your foot and ending on your arch side while holding down your big toe joint each time. The straps should slightly overlap.

    • 6). Repeat this two more times or until the 2-3 inch athletic tape reaches your first toe joint. Hold down your first toe joint each time you strap around the inside of your foot to create an arched effect.

    • 7). Cut off any excess tape at the top of your foot and keep on for 3-5 days.
