• For you to qualify for free dental care from the Dental Lifeline Network in Dallas, you have to show that you are at or below the federal poverty level. • The Oral Health Group of the Texas Department of State Health Services does not have specific funding programs, but serves as a facilitator for the disabled and others who need access to dental services. Texas Health Steps will connect Medicaid recipients younger than 20 with a dental provider directly. In Dallas, you can also call 211 for help finding dental services.

• Located at 2922-B Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Dallas, this clinic provides all medical and dental services free of charge to those who qualify based on income levels. Because many disabled individuals frequently qualify under poverty guidelines, this is an excellent source for dental care.
  
  

Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic

• Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic is located at 3111 Sylvan Ave., just west of downtown Dallas. For disabled and underprivileged children, the clinic provides free dental care up to the age of 17. Payment is based on a sliding scale that follows federal income poverty guidelines.
