Change Vista to XP Operating System
- 1). Insert a Microsoft Windows XP disc into the disc drive.
- 2). Restart the computer and boot from the CD.
- 3). Press the "Enter" key after Windows setup boots.
- 4). Press the "F8" key to accept the EULA.
- 5). Erase all of the partitions on the hard drive and create a new NTFS partition. Press the "D" key, then "L" to erase the existing partitions. Press the "Enter" key twice to create a new NTFS partition.
- 6). Press "Enter" to proceed with the installation.
- 7). Enter a username after the computer restarts.
- 8). Configure the date and time settings. Enter the correct date and time into the presented dialog box. Ensure to select the correct time zone. Click "OK" to proceed.
- 9). Configure the network settings, if presented with the option.

Install the drivers for the computer motherboard and hardware after Windows finishes installation. Most computers and motherboards ship with a disc that installs all drivers automatically when you insert the disc into the disc drive.
